Product Description

The Mobi Products battery cradle allows you to easily synchronize and charge your Centro with any USB-enabled computer. Just connect the cradle to your computer's USB and you are set. The Centro is charged through your computer's USB port.

This cradle also features a spare battery charger - great to have if you have multiple batteries. If you want to use the cradle's spare battery charger, you also need to connect the bundled AC adapter. The AC adapter does not charge the Centro, it only provides power to the battery slot.

No Hot Sync Button

Pros: Fits perfect and works
Cons: No Hot Sync Button on Cradle

This cradle is perfect in every way except for the fact that it does not have a hot sync button built into the cradle. You must use the hot sync button on your centro home screen to sync. Not a big deal, but it does add a few steps to the process.

I just received this product and will be returning it for a refund. It does not hold my Centro very well. I placed the Centro in the cradle, but the slightest tap causes the connection to disconnect.

Now this is real problem because there is no hot sync button, so you must use the software hot sync on the phone, thus you must navigate via the Centro screen to find the hot sync app. However, in doing this, the slightest movement will cause the phone to disconnect from the cradle. Even just touching the hot sync button on the Centro screen can cause the unit to disconnect from the cradle. You actually need to hold the Centro down with one hand to make sure that it does not disconnect.

When I say disconnect, I do NOT mean the that the Centro falls out of the cradle. I mean that the electrical connection between the Centro and the cradle is disconnected.

I also own a Palm cradle and was originally unhappy with how firmly it held the phone, now I realize that it needs to firmly hold the phone in place or it will disconnect (which it never does).

The Centro charger connection is a bit wobbly and you need to be careful since the device can stop charging. My spare battery connection was even more unstable and after one use the spare battery charging light went out. Asked for a replacement device, but so far, cant recommend this one.
