StarStarStarStarStar Great Case!
User: Steve B, Sep 10, 2008
Pros: Slim and durable
Cons: A bit "slick" feeling at first but gets better with use
This is a nice hard case for the Centro. Despite old reports of the case being difficult to put on and take off, Seidio has fixed this problem. The case is very thin, and durable, will keep your Centro scratch free. The face of the phone and keyboard are exposed, however the Centros screen is scratch resistant already, so that is no problem.

Ive dropped my Centro, and the case "popped" right off, which I suspect saved my phone from damage. I would have liked the "skin" to have been more "tacky" but it works just fine, and slides in and out of a pocket easily.

StarStarStarStarStar dont be fooled
User: a clarke, Jul 6, 2009
Pros: fits nice and tight and looks great. perfect if you dont use expansion card.
Cons: case breaks easy at top left tab and its tight fit squeezes back cover of phone so the sd card contact w/card reader is impacted and phone wont detect card.
the case fits snugly, protects from damage, but taking it off is not easy. for some reason my expansion card was not being detected. so i wanted to remove it and check it, etc. so i removed the case and it was so hard to remove. when i got it off the left top snap closure (or tab and slot closure) broke so it never fit snugly on that side again. i got another one b/c i though i simply broke the first one. i noticed again that my expansion card wasnt being detected and so now im thinking that im having the same problem i used to have with my treo 450. so this time, when i went to remove the expansion card, and i had to first remove this case, i was VERY careful in removing it. i was successful. but the expansion card kept having the same trouble. and one time i tried to remove the case and the left corner tab broke again. so i decided not to get another case because it was costing me $19 plus shipping each time. But the other thing i discovered is that the case squeezes the back cover of the centro just enough to interfere with the contact between the expansion card and the card reader contacts in the phone. i discovered this because after i removed the case, i never had the problem again with the expansion card.

StarStarStarStarStar Nice concept poor execution
User: Bonnie Kirk, Nov 8, 2008
Pros: Attractive
Cons: Will not stay snapped
I am on my second case. My first was purchased with my Centro in June, 2008. I returned a week later because the case kept snapping open. Verizon replaced the case, and one of their people put the phone in the 2nd case. Before I was out of the parking lot it snapped open again.

Perhaps I can find some burgundy duct tape!

It was the only case Verizon offered that was designed for the Centro, so I dont have anything else to recommend. Thats unfortunate, because I like the case otherwise.

StarStarStarStarStar Nice if you never have to open the case
User: K C, Jan 8, 2010
Pros: Great fit, feels nice in your hand, good protection
Cons: Difficult to open, breaks over time
I really liked this case in theory, but its not made to be opened and closed repeatedly. So good luck getting to the battery compartment of your Centro. Ive had to open mine maybe a dozen times and the top section of the case just broke in two near the volume control. (This appears to be the most vulnerable part of the case.)

I contacted Seidio and the only help they offered was a 20 discount off a new case. I would have preferred to purchase just the top piece or at least received a 50 discount. Ive contacted Speck in the past about broken components and theyve sent replacement parts at no charge. So, not too impressed with Seidio as a company.
